SCN’s Lochranza (Isle of Arran) is a stunning expression that was fully matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead, so it’s bursting with rich, sherry notes.

SCN Tasting Notes

Nose:  Opens with intense dried fruits, lots of fig, raisin and chewy leather notes. There’s a floral sweetness, too.

Palate: Medium-bodied with a warming texture. Lots of the classic sherry notes here, with Christmas treacle and chocolate cherry gateaux. A generous serving of muscovado sugar coats the tongue. With time in the glass, the richness of the dram really opens up.

Finish: Long and lingering, with the oak notes leaving your tongue tingling.
